Amber Alert issued in WA for missing newborn baby

EVERETT, Wash. -- An Amber Alert has been issued for a newborn baby who police believe is in "grave danger."

Police are looking for the child's mother, 31-year-old Roshell Marie Turner, who gave birth on January 27.

Officials from Child Protective Services believe the baby is in "grave danger and needs immediate medical attention," according to the Everett Police Department.

The missing child, who police are referring to as John Doe Turner, is just 17 days old.

Roshell is white, stands 5'5" tall and weighs190 pounds. She has brown eyes and black mid-length hair and has a rose tattoo on her upper right chest. There is no clothing description available.

Police say Turner is a heavy methamphetamine user, and her child has potentially severe medical issues due to the drug use.

Roshell frequents the Casino Rd area in Everett and usually stays within Snohomish County.

It is possible Roshell is with a Hispanic male known as "Guero," according to police. The pair may be hiding in the South Everett area.
