Ada County Coroner releases details on 'torturous' murder

Ada County Coroners office released new information on the homicide that took place at Civic Plaza Apartments in Boise Friday.

The coroner said 64-year -old David Castro Vargas of Boise died of multiple stab wounds to the head, neck, chest and abdomen.

Kimberly Swa, who was arrested Friday on first-degree murder, is being held without bail after a judge denied setting a bond amount.

In court on Monday, Ada County Prosecutors say Swa admitted to the murder to detectives and described the killing as brutal and torturous.

The investigation is still underway.
