Traffic Alert: A few accidents reported as storm moves through the Treasure Valley
BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) —
Don't let the wet roads fool you.
The roads in many areas around the Treasure Valley are a little slick.
Areas mainly east of Boise are seeing snow stick to roads and are causing for some slick conditions. Dispatchers tell KBOI 2News that one slide off has been reported in Elmore County and there's been one roll over crash in Ada County.
No crashes have been reported in Canyon County.
If you're traveling on Highway 55 or Highway 21 this morning, you'll want to check the latest road conditions as heavy snow is being reported.
Closer to Boise, cities in lower elevation such as Nampa, Caldwell and Ontario are seeing all rain. Mountain locations and especially ski areas are getting a nice little douse of powder.
Bogus Basin and Brundage Mountain have reported three inches of new snow, while Tamarack Resort near Donnelly has received four.
