23-year-old man stabbed to death in Twin Falls

TWIN FALLS, Idaho -- A Twin Falls man was stabbed to death early Saturday morning at the Canyon Crest Dining and Events Center, Twin Falls Police said.

Police responded to the events center just before 1 a.m. Saturday to find 23-year-old Jerimiah Paiz dead from apparent knife wounds.

Police arrested Cayde Lish, 21 also of Twin Falls, later on in the morning on manslaughter charges.

Twin Falls County Prosecutor Grant Loebs told KMTV that the investigation is ongoing.

Data taken from the Idaho Supreme Court revealed that Lish had an extensive (and often violent) criminal history that dates back to 2009. In September, 2010 Lish was found guilty of exhibition/use of a deadly weapon.

Most recently Lish was found guilty of driving under the influence in Twin Falls, his second time being charged DUII.
