2-year-old hit by car backing out of parking space
BOISE, Idaho -- A two-year-old was taken to the hospital after being hit by a car Saturday evening as it was backing out of a parking space.
Police officials said the injuries were non-life threatening and the child was conscious during the ambulance ride to the hospital.
Officers said the driver of a sedan was backing out of a parking spot at an apartment complex in the 3900 block of Alpine Street when the car hit a two-year-old that was behind the vehicle.
The driver reported they couldn't see the child behind the car when they started backing out of the spot.
