Be the hands of hope for your neighbors: medical goods drive!

BOISE- Do you have hospital equipment lying around your house that you're not using?

If so, St. Luke's wants to hear from you!

Hands of Hope Northwest is helping coordinate a drive with St. Luke's to collect any equipment you might have in your home.

It can be new or used, and include anything from hospital beds, crutches to wheelchairs... You name it!

The point is... don't let it go to waste when so many people are in need.

"The nurses will be manning the stations to receive the equipment, our Hands of Hope truck will be traveling between the locations picking up the equipment - we'll take them back, then we'll re-purpose all of this equipment, that many times, ends up in second-hand stores or in a landfill," said Hands of Hope Northwest Executive Director David J. Ferdinand, II.

Ferdinand said that more than $600,000 was given back to the Treasure Valley in 2012.

The drive is taking place in three locations on Friday, June 28th and Saturday, June 29th.

Head to the parking lots of St. Luke's in Boise, Meridian and Nampa between 7 am and 4 pm on Friday, and 9 am and 3 pm on Saturday.
