Renae Jakson Rocks the Crock with this post-Thanksgiving recipe. Simple and delicious!


SLOW COOKER TURKEY CHILI

PREP TIME: 10 MINS

COOK TIME: 4-6 HOURS

SERVES: 6-8

Ingredients

½ cup red pepper, chopped

1 small yellow onion, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1-4 tsp jalapeno peppers, minced

1 (29 ounce) can petite diced tomatoes

1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce

2 (16 ounce) cans chili beans, undrained

½ cup chicken broth

3 tablespoons chili powder

½ tsp ground cumin powder

salt and pepper

3 cups turkey, shredded

Toppings

shredded cheddar cheese

sour cream

crackers

Instructions

Add all ingredients to your slow cooker & stir until combined. Slow cook on low for 4-6 hours.

Top with shredded cheese & sour cream... serve warm.

Note: I make this turkey Chili with leftover turkey after the holidays. However, this recipe can be

made all year long using ground meat in place of the turkey! Simply brown 1lb ground beef & 1lb

ground pork...add to the slow cooker in place of the turkey. Slow cook for 4-6 hours on low. ENJOY!!!
