Idaho Virtual Reality Council hosting bash Oct. 5
BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) —
Virtual Reality is booming and it's already here in the Treasure Valley.
The Idaho VR Council is hosting a virtual reality bash Oct. 5 where folks can interact with 20 or more different vendors, each with a cool VR experience at their booths.
Council leaders say they think Idaho is perfect for the new technology.
"Idaho can lead the next tech revolution," said Preston Lewis of the Idaho VR Council. "Idaho is known for potatoes and agriculture. Looking at the power of VR, we want to drive that and bring talent here and build companies up with the power of virtual reality and evangelizing it."
