Why are police investigating 87-year-old man's death?

MERIDIAN, Idaho - More than a week and a half ago Meridian Police investigated the unattended death of 87-year-old Otis Connor. Now police are back, caution tape is up and the Meridian mobile command unit is parked out front of the house on Turnberry Way.

It looks like a crime scene but police are keeping everything very hush hush.

Meridian police say they received new information that led them to return to the scene and further their investigation.

The Ada County Coroner's report on Conner lists the cause of death as pending.

City of Meridian officials say no one will go on camera to talk about the investigation until later this week.
