Search suspended for missing swimmer

ADA COUNTY, Idaho - The search for a missing swimming at Swan Falls Dam has been suspended.

It all started on Thursday night when a group of friends were camping along the Snake River near the dam. Police say one man decided to swim across the river. He made it but on his way back friends lost sight of him.

Dive teams searched the river in the dark but found nothing.

Friday, crews were back at it again, this time searching from the air as well as from the water and the banks.

Saturday morning search crews returned and search with dirt bikes but found nothing and that's when they decided to suspend the search.

On top of very dangerous river conditions, police say alcohol could be a factor in the man's disappearance.
