Otter appoints Dave Case to Ada Comm, ACHD asking for resumes

BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - Governor C.L. "Butch" Otter has appointed Dave Case of Meridian to fill the Ada County Commissioner seat vacated by Vern Bisterfeldt when he resigned earlier this month.

Case defeated incumbent Sharon Ullman in the Republican Primary on May 15. He faces Democrat Thomas Howell and independent Jon Howard this November.

Case is vacating his current seat on the Ada County Highway District Commission to take the county commissioner position.

ACHD says it is asking for candidates to apply for Case's former seat, which represents most of Ada County south of Interstate 84.

The deadline for applicants to submit their resumes to ACHD is Monday, June 4 at noon.
