Nampa tri-plex damaged after two-alarm fire rips through attic

NAMPA, Idaho (KBOI) - Three units in a tri-plex were damaged after a house fire Thursday in Nampa.

Officials tell KBOI 2News that the fire started in the attic and spread throughout the complex, located near Yale and Hudson streets, causing damage to all three units.

A second alarm was called to protect firefighters because of the heat. No injuries were reported.

A photo emailed to KBOI 2News showed flames bursting out of the house for a time while firefighters battled the blaze. Fire investigators are working to figure out the cause of the fire.
