Kuna schools asking for $6 million levy this month

BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - The Kuna School District is asking voters to approve a two-year, $6.38 million levy in an election later this month.

The district says the levy will prevent teachers from being laid off and class sizes from growing.

Officials say that for a home with an assessed value of $100,000 the levy would cost about $185 per year.

The election is Tuesday, August 28.
