Firefighters respond to two-alarm fire at Caldwell home

CALDWELL, Idaho (KBOI) - Fire crews responded to a house fire in Caldwell Monday evening.

The two-alarm fire was reported at a home in the 3100 block of Turning Leaf Street.

When firefighters arrived they saw smoke and flames coming from the second floor of the house.

It took crews about 20 minutes to get the fire under control.

One neighbor told KBOI 2News he's just glad no one was hurt.

"It was pretty smoky, there were flames shooting out," says Steven Snow, who lives next door. "I got my family out as quick as I could and made sure everyone was out of the house."

Firefighters says there is quite a bit of smoke and water damage to the house.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
